welcome to the juicy life!
The Juicy Life is a juice company and mobile yoga studio based on California’s Central Coast. Founded by Kimberly Zimmerman—a highly trained yoga teacher, Reiki Master, and experienced nutrition/life coach—The Juicy Life is driven by a deep commitment to sharing the medicinal power of food and yoga.
After amassing hundreds of hours of yoga instruction in Orange County and helping several Southern California corporate clients launch juice bars and raw food restaurants, Kimberly returned to her native Santa Barbara County in 2012. Here, The Juicy Life flourished into a weekly fresh-pressed juice delivery service as well as a brick-and-mortar yoga studio in Santa Ynez.
In 2022, we closed the studio space in the wake of the pandemic and refocused on making our fresh pressed juice business the most sustainable, nutritious and delicious regional juice brand fueled by locally grown bounty. Today, Kimberly offers private yoga and integrated wellness coaching for individuals and groups and brings her expertise to retreats around the world.
Let us make your life more juicy!
Kimberly Zimmerman is the founder, owner and operator of The Juicy Life Yoga and Juice Bar. A highly experienced yoga instructor with over 2,000 hours of teaching experience and a certified Reiki Master, she offers her clients and community more than 15 years of training and education and a depth of experience across a variety of healing modalities, including nutrition.
A Central Coast native, Kimberly was in her early twenties when she found her calling in the health and wellness industry. She was living in Orange County after earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California Riverside and feeling unfulfilled by her lucrative job in the corporate marketing world. The lifelong athlete and Division I college soccer player had always been drawn to movement, and her first hot yoga class — taken during a time when her life felt out of balance — would become a pivotal moment on her path to finding her true purpose as an advocate for yoga and nutrition.
OUR FOUNDER
After that first class, Kimberly immersed herself in the local yoga community and completed her first 200-hour Yoga Teaching Certificate, allowing her to bring the same life-changing benefits of yoga to others. Simultaneously, Kimberly discovered the raw food and juicing movement, which inspired her to complete an Institute of Integrated Nutrition Certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching. Kimberly launched The Juicy Life as a wellness consultancy, and juice quickly became her signature calling card.
In 2012, Kimberly returned to the Central Coast to bring The Juicy Life to Santa Barbara County. She quickly earned a loyal following for her style of yoga instruction and was the first instructor to bring heated, high intensity yoga flow to the Santa Ynez Valley. She also became known as “The Juice Lady” as more clients were introduced to her juices at yoga studios and local retailers.
Kimberly is deeply committed to supporting local, organic agriculture and bringing The Juicy Life fundamentals—the medicinal power of food and yoga—to those in need. She donates time, services and products to community organizations and non-profit groups, particularly those supporting women, children, teens and animals.
WHY OUR JUICE?
Fresh pressed juice the simplest, most convenient way to get the vitamins, minerals and nutrients your body needs directly from fruits and vegetables. We do all the “dirty” work for you, so you can stock your refrigerator with a fresh supply of juices every week. Our clients attest to the fact that it’s much easier to make healthy choices with such local bounty right at your fingertips.
Our juices start with freshly harvested, organically grown produce sourced directly from second generation family farmers we know personally. While our flavorful, satisfying recipes change weekly based on what is available, our core offerings always include a Black Juice, Pink Juice, Red Juice, Green Juice, Mean Green Juice, Spicy Green Juice, Super Food Milk and Yellow Juice. Far from formulaic, our blends are intuitively created based on taste and maximum nutritional impact.
Every step of the process is infused with purpose, care and intention. We make a fresh batch of juice every week to fulfill a set volume of pre-orders. Our produce travels less than five miles from farm to kitchen upon pick-up. After the juicing is completed, the excess organic product is donated to local farms to feed their animals. We exclusively use glass jars to reduce waste, and sanitize and reuse jars after the customer has enjoyed their juice. We deliver directly to customers in Santa Barbara County, and also offer juice tasting flights for private clients and groups or as an add-on to yoga sessions.
